Whether you are drawn to a windswept bay on the Scottish coast, a shattered mountain ridge in Snowdonia or just the tranquil woods around Nutclough's millpond, I have created landscape photographs that show why wild land is where we can escape the artificiality of modern life and truly feel at home again.
Since I was 16, I have been travelling through the mountains of Britain, often wild camping as the only way to feel at home in the hills. My interest in mountain photography grew while at college where I was the president of the photographic society. Combining the two interests led me to pursue landscape photography, particularly of the wild mountain areas of Britain and the wilder stretches of coast such as in the Scottish Highlands.
